Hi, I'm Virginia Lee


I am a licensed K-12 Music Teacher, specialising in Choral Arts, Musical Theatre, and General Music. I am originally from Great Falls, Virginia, USA.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Music Education. I received my Orff Level 1 Certification at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. In 2022, I earned a Master's Degree in Education Leadership and Policy from Boston College.

From 2014–2019, I worked in North Carolina as a K-8 General Music Teacher and Director of Middle School Choirs at Forsyth Country Day School. During my time at FCDS, I also served as Director of the Arts Enrichment Center and was awarded the Edith Spinks Award in Teaching Excellence and the Lower School Teacher of the Year Award.

I currently work as the Grades 3–5 PYP Music Teacher at the International School of Nanshan Shenzhen. In addition to teaching, I serve as the school's CIS Accreditation Coordinator, PYP Arts Team Lead, Head of the DEIJ Committee, and more. I also present professional development workshops within my school community and across China.
